Portsmouth Catholic is blessed with so many parent and grandparent volunteers who give of their time and hearts to make lasting memories of learning for our students. But don't take my word for it. Here is one of our many devoted parent volunteers to share her experiences first hand. Thanks and lots of love to all who make PCRS such a wonderful place to learn. If you have a testimonial that you would like to add, please email me and we will have it posted.

Reading matters in 1st Grade! I spent time with each group of students and practiced reading either a book, poems or songs to be recorded. Everyone worked very hard to sound out their words and master reading, while I video recorded and/or took pictures. We all enjoyed reading funny stories such as There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bat, songs or poems about BATS! I am so thankful to be able to spend time with such wonderful kids!
